The Mercury Incident was a major offensive against the Lupo Prohibition, headed by the Axis Mind, the Repetitive Mind. In the attempts to stave off a massive Vex invasion, several fireteams, Fireteam Argus included, launched an attack on Mercury and tried to end the threat at its source. This incident also introduced members of the Disciples of Osiris as a psuedo-antagonist.
