Zand Kedal is a male Human Hunter and scouting specialist, currently severing on Fireteam Argus. While a full-fledged member of the Fireteam, Zand's recruitment was merely caused by a few misunderstandings and coincidental circumstances.
History[]
Pre-Collapse[]
Zand's history before his resurrection is unknown and obscure, even to him. While he is aware of his place of birth, he has no recollection of his family, achievements or life in general. The Commander, the questionably ruthless leader of the Teutonics, claims that the truth is known to him, a closely guarded secret.
City Age[]
Zand was awoken from death by a wandering Ghost in an unknown location. Immediately, the Ghost recognized Zand's amazing sense of direction, as the Guardian took off for The City almost instinctively. It was because of this particular talent that he was assigned to the Teutonics, a group of Guardians that live in the wilderness, guarding and guiding refugees as they travel to the protection of the City.
Fireteam Argus[]
At some point in his life, Zand was sent to the Tower to deliver reports to the Vanguard. After a brief confusion, he found a group Vanguard (including Avgust Sokolov) briefing a team of Guardians on their mission. Supposedly there weren't any reports due, but the Vanguard suggested that Zand join the Guardians so that his trip wasn't pointless.
